Entrepreneurship Unplugged – Andre Käber Returns to His Roots

Yesterday evening, our founder Andre Käber was invited to speak about entrepreneurship at the Kühne Logistics University (KLU) — a place that holds a special meaning for him. Long before he became a founder, strategist, and one of the leading voices in LogTech, this building was home to SAP Hamburg, where Andre began his SAP journey back in 2004, after he worked 3 years for cbs - corporate business solutions in Heidelberg, as an SAP Supply Chain Execution Consultant.

Stepping onto the campus again was more than a keynote moment! It was a return to the origins of his entrepreneurial mindset. A chance to revisit the room where he first learned to sell ideas, decode complex logistics systems, and understand what it means to take responsibility for shaping the future.

KLU’s guiding spirit, “Leading with an Operations Mindset. The future is yours!”, set the perfect stage. Andre connected deeply with this thinking: because entrepreneurship often starts exactly there — where curiosity becomes action, where knowledge becomes conviction, and where responsibility becomes the driver for change.

In his talk Entrepreneurship Unplugged, Andre shared the three characteristics that have shaped his own path:

● Domain knowledge — understanding how systems, companies, and supply chains truly work.

● Empathy — the ability to read people, build trust, and create meaningful collaboration.

● Courage — the willingness to build something new even when certainty is not guaranteed.

For Andre, entrepreneurship isn’t a job description.

It’s a way of thinking: alive, curious, human.

A way of building companies that feel connected, not mechanical.

Returning to the place where everything started was a powerful reminder of why he continues to build, inspire, and challenge the status quo in logistics and technology.
